The Sun Valley Hotel in Shiga Kogen is a Ski In / Ski Out ski lodge with superior facilities and all the comforts of home.

It is located on the slopes of the Sun Valley resort, right at the entrance to Shiga Kogen Resorts. From outside the front door you can connect through a series of lifts to the very far side of the resort over 15km away. And when you get bored with that (if it is possible) then you jump on a free shuttle and head up to Kumanoyu and Yokoteyama for even more great skiing and scenic views.

You enter the hotel to a large lobby and front desk. Plenty of space to realx here and relive the day over a quiet drink. The restaurant offers both Japanese and Western Meals (see photos) that are sure to satisfy even the hungriest of guests.

Nothing is better after a long day on the slopes or hiking in the mountains than a piping hot hot spring bath. The hotel has a large bathhouse with natural mineral waters.

If with a group, there are banquet halls of several sizes, and the meals are very memorable.
