Half Day Kimono and Culture Tour
Operations for the 2021-22 Season have not been decided yet
We will update this page once details are confirmed
Kimono is the national dress of Japan, and while commonly worn during the Edo period, which ended over 150 years ago, it is still worn on special occasions today.
Fitting a Kimono is a difficult process and cannot be done alone.
On this tour you can select your own colorful kimono, and the instructor will carefully dress you from inside to out, finishing with the Obi Belt and ornaments.
Following the Kimono wearing you’ll try Origami paper folding, and experience the Japanese Tea Ceremony.
The tour concludes with a Japanese Lunch.
