Hakuba Valley Shuttle Buses

Hakuba Valley Official Shuttle Buses operate between resorts and other major points in Hakuba.


HV-1
 runs from Happo Information Center south via Hakuba base camp to Sanosaka, Kashimayari and Jiigatake Ski Resorts. There are generally 2 morning shuttles and 2 returns in the afternoon (only 1 as far as Jiigatake)


HV-2 is the northern route from Happo Information Center to Tsugaike Kogen, Hakuba Norikura and Cortina Ski resort. The are only 2 morning shuttles, and these can get very busy so it is best to arrive and line up early.


HV-3 is the most popular and useful bus as it operates from Goryu Ski Resort to Tsugaike Mountain Resort via Hakuba Base Camp and Happo Information Center, stopping at all ski resorts in between. There buses run at least once per hour and more at peak times.

Hakuba Valley Shuttle buses cost 510yen per person per ride (260yen for 6-11yrs and free for 5 and under).

If you have the Hakuba Valley Lift Pass then you can ride free of charge if you a skiing that day (Do not use your lift pass on these buses if you are having a rest day, as it will count as a day).

The Hakuba Valley Shuttle buses operate to a strict time schedule and generally operate on time, except in times of heavy traffic or adverse weather conditions.

These buses are fully licensed with professional drivers who all carry a passenger services certificate (which requires a lot of study and testing in Japan)
