Tangram Madarao Tokyu Resort

Madarao Tangram Tokyu Resort (mostly called “Tangram” for short) is an all-in-one family resort located adjacent to Madarao Mountain Resort. It offers all season entertainment and activities.

The mountain has 5 lifts and connects along it’s north boundary with Madarao Mountain Resort, and there are combined tickets on sale so you can enjoy both resorts.

The main basin is very much beginners terrain, but the ridge lines from the #1 lift and the #5 quad offer some more challenging runs. There is a excellent tree run section alongside the #1 lift.

The views from the Nojiriko Terrace are some of the best around and the cafe is a great place to take a breakt.

Down at the base is the Hotel Tangram, which owns and operates the resort. Apart from all your rental, lesson and dining needs, the hotel also offers an indoor swimming pool, and one of the best hot springs in the region.

There are plenty of other activities for all ages, making this one of the most fun places to spend a few days in the whole of Nagano.

For those wanting to come in summer there is a golf course on site also.
