ZIPRIDER at Lotte Arai Ski Resort

At over 1,500m, this may well be the longest zipline you will experience in your life.

The Arai Zip Tour starts at the Zendana Gondola Station, and takes you nearly 240m in vertical distance before you come to an abrupt stop.

You zip over the ski slopes and close to many trees along the way.

Price is 6,000yen per adult and 3,000yen for kids aged 10-12.

Note that you must weigh between 30-110kg, and stand 120 -200cm in stature.

Cold weather clothing is absolutely required, and snow boots (no hard ski boots) are recommended as you do have to walk some distance through the snow.

Sunglasses / Ski Goggles are also highly recommended.

From central Myoko there are daily bus transfers from Akakura to Arai Ski Resort.
