Ryuo Ski Park is one of the largest resorts in the Kita Shiga Area.

With the resort divided into 3 zones, there is something for all level.

At the base is the Valley Area, which has some of the best beginner terrain in the great Nagano area. There are 7 lifts here with wide open slopes. A great way for first timers to enjoy snow sports.

At the top of the resort is the Skyland Area, which which offers a variety of terrain for all levels.

In the middle, and accessed by the 2.1km long Skyland Express Ropeway, is the Kiochi Courses. These are advance runs that link the top and the bottom of the resort. The area is only accessible to high level riders. Other guests should take the Ropeway down to the bottom at the end of the day. The trees within the ski resort boundary may be accessed but heading outside the resort is no allowed.

Everyone should head to the top of the ropeway during the day, as the “Sora Terrace” and Café offer some of the finest panoramic  views of the surrounding area.

There is a course linking the bottom of the resort with neighboring Komaruyama Ski Area.
