Day Tours from Hakuba Valley

Take a break from the slope and join a full day tour to explore more in Nagano. You will visit the world famous snow monkeys who spend their days soaking in the natural hot spring, keeping warm from the harsh winter. New-born babies are adorable. Bring your best camera with you and enjoy your time with the lovely monkey community. It will definitely be one of the greatest experiences in Japan!

The Zenkoji Temple is a huge temple with history of over 1,400 years. It is one of Japan’s most revered temples and is designated a national treasure. It is a good time to see Japanese tradition and culture.

10:00 Arrive Snow Monkey Park car park. Hike to Snow Monkey Park for about 30 minutes
10:30-11:30 Enjoy your time in Snow Monkey Park
12:00 Depart car park
12:30 Lunch at the historic town of Obuse
15:00-16:00 Guided Tour of Zenkoji Temple
16:00 Depart Zenkoji Temple
17:30 Arrive Hakuba

Fare
Adult: 15,000 yen per person
Child (3 – 11 years old with child meal and seats): 10,000 yen per person
Child (2 years old or under with no meals and seats): Free of charge

• Entrance fee to Hokusai Museum at Obuse and the underground passage at the Zenkoji Temple

Advice

• Waterproof boots, jacket and pants are highly recommended as a 30 minute uphill walk along the forest path is required

※Minimum number of participants is 17.
In case the minimum number of participants has not been reached by 17:00 one day before the tour date, the tour will be cancelled, and customers may choose refund or allocation to another date.
