Madarao Kogen and Tangram Ski Circus are a pair of resorts located between Nozawa Onsen and Myoko Kogen. Well known for their liberal tree skiing policies, they are attracting a growing number of international visitors.

It’s location means that it can be done as a day trip from Myoko Kogen or Nozawa Onsen, but if you are a powder seeker, then it pays to stay close by and get first tracks.
