The “Eve” gondola is one of the longest in Japan (4.2km), and will get you to the top of the resort 20 minutes. There is also a rope-way that opens in spring, expanding the terrain higher.
There are a number of tree runs (called “Tsugapow DBD”), and you need to register and get an arm band before being allowed access.Access is via 5 gates at the top of the resort.
It is also one of the most popular gateways into the back country. Taking a local guide is highly recommended, and full back country kit is an absolute must.
