There is a shuttle bus service around Myoko Kogen’s main resorts.

It operates about every half hour during the day and costs 500yen per ride. Cash payment is possible but it is quicker to purchase a book of tickets and give one to the driver.

Tickets can be purchased at the following locations: Akakura Onsen Tourist Office, Shin Akakura Tourism Office, Ikenohira Onsen Tourist Office, Myoko Suginohara Tourism Office, Myoko Suginohara Ski Resort ticket window, Ikenotaira Onsen ski resort ticket window, Landmark Onsen Café, Akakura Kanko resort ski shop, Champion ticket window.

The trip from one end to the other is about 25 minutes with 9-10 stops along the way.

There is a daily service from Akakura Onsen in central Akakura to Lotte Arai Resort. There is one return trip in both directions. The trip takes about 50 minutes and costs 1,500yen per person. There are a number of stops along the way, and those wanting to try out Seki Onsen and Tsubame Onsen Ski Resorts can change buses at Sekiyama Station
