Ryokan Sakaya

Ryokan Sakaya is one of the finest Ryokan Inns in Nozawa Onsen. It is locates a short walk from Chuo Bus Terminal and about 10 minutes walk to the slopes. It is also close to many of Nozawa’s wining and dining establishments.

From the moment you walk into the lobby, you will be engulfed in traditional Japan. From the uniforms of the staff, to the decorations, you’ll know you’ve stepped into a new world.

The large lobby lounge is a great place to socialize with old friends and make new ones.

Rooms are mostly Japanese style, but some beds have been added to make a few rooms for comfortable for those not wanting to sleep on futons. Each room is unique, and has a range of Japanese decorations and amenities.

The large bathhouse has both indoor and outdoor hot spring baths, and offer a wonderful way to end the day.

Dinner is available if booked in advance and we highly recommend dining in at least once during your stay.
