Things to Do in Myoko Kogen

While most people do visit Myoko Kogen exclusively for the snow activities, there are a few other activities that can be done on a day off the slopes.

For history buffs, the Niigata & Joetsu region has a long history and was the homeland of some of the most powerful samurai leaders in Japan.

Being a mountainous region there is also a lot of natural sites to check out.

And being located so close to the Japan Sea, the area has some of the best seafood in Japan, and a course dinner including freshly caught fish and crabs are an absolute must.
